Rwanda says it’s owed £100m from UK over axed asylum deal

The Rwandan government is taking the UK to court, claiming it’s owed £100 million over the asylum agreement cancelled by Sir Keir Starmer.

Under the deal brokered by the former Tory government, Rwanda agreed to take payments in return for receiving migrants who had illegally arrived in Britain.
