Sara Sharif: Father and stepmother sentenced to life imprisonment

The judge accused them of a ‘campaign of torture’ while showing not one shred of remorse as he sentenced Sara Sharif’s father and stepmother to life behind bars.

Urfan Sharif and Beinash Batool were found guilty last week of murdering the ten year old schoolgirl after subjecting her to years of abuse.

Mr Sharif was ordered to serve a minimum term of 40 years, and Batool a minimum of 33 years.
