The UK says it will deploy a military jet to carry out air to air refuelling operations with Saudi Arabia – describing it as purely defensive air support.
The Prime Minister said Saudi aircraft were defending energy infrastructure against attacks from Iranian backed Houthi fighters – helping to keep oil flowing through the Gulf.
The RAF Voyager will be deployed for several weeks.
