Scientists find ‘strongest sign of life’ on another planet, explained

Astronomers say they’ve found the strongest sign yet of possible life on another planet – one that’s 124 light years away, well outside our solar system.

Scientists from Cambridge University studied the atmosphere of the planet – known unforgettably as K2-18b – and found traces of compounds which on Earth are ONLY produced by living organisms.

They did warn, however – that they need to do a lot more work to confirm their findings.
