Scotland’s First Minister feels ‘helpless’ watching his in-laws trapped in Gaza

Scotland’s First Minister Humza Yousaf sought to comfort the family of a Scot who died in the Hamas attacks – hugging the mother of Bernard Cowen at a service for him.

His own family is caught up in the conflict – his wife’s parents trapped in Gaza after travelling there last week to visit a sick relative. They’ve made an emotional plea for help.
