Police have confirmed to GB News that the boy at the centre of Scott Mills investigation was under the age of 16.
he understand that no arrests were made or charges were brought and the investigation was closed due to a lack of evidence.
All of this comes as the BBC was plunged into crisis after Scott Mills was sacked from BBC Radio 2 following allegations relating to his personal conduct. The reason for his dismissal is still unknown.
GB News has reached out to Scott Mills for comment but we are yet to hear back.
