The family of a Scottish man who was jailed in India for almost nine years without being convicted say he’s been granted bail.
Sikh activist Jagtar Singh Johal, from Dumbarton, was arrested in 2017 in connection with targeted killings of religious and political figures.
His supporters say he was coerced into signing a false confession.
The Indian authorities denied claims that he had been tortured.
