Dr Abdul Nasser Ahmad Alwali, a minister in the Southern Transitional Council in Yemen’s south, has been speaking to our Global Security Editor Rohit Kachroo.

He says Western intervention in the country has come too late. But, despite almost a decade of civil war in the Arab state, he still has hope for the future of his people.
