The channel has now launched two investigations – one into the allegations and another into the care offered to participants, after the allegations were made in a BBC Panorama programme.
Dr Jo Hemmings, a psychologist who’s worked in reality TV for more than twenty years on shows including Married at First Sight UK and Big Brother, tells Channel 4 News that the ‘series shouldn’t have been broadcast’.
