Seven-day mourning declared as Delcy Rodríguez rejects US control of Venezuela

Venezuela’s interim president Delcy Rodríguez on Tuesday declared seven days of mourning in honour of members of the country’s military who died in the US military operation. At least 24 Venezuelan security officers were killed in the operation in Venezuela’s capital, Caracas. On Tuesday, Rodríguez rejected statements by US president Donald Trump that the US would "run" Venezuela.
