Several people injured in factory blast in Russian’s Rostov region

At least 10 people have been injured after a powerful explosion partially destroyed a polyester staple fibre plant in the city of Shakhty, Rostov, in southern Russia, authorities said in a statement. Firefighters extinguished the fire caused by the blast and no fatalities were reported. According to the statement, there is no threat to residential buildings as the plant was in an industrial area. The cause of the accident is yet to be established
