Robert Jenrick has defended tackling fare dodgers on London’s Underground network.
He told Sky’s Ali Fortescue that he was a fan of the "broken windows" theory of crime, which was championed in New York in the 1990s.
In a social media post, Mr Jenrick filmed himself confronting travellers he said had not paid for their journey.
