A ship carrying humanitarian aid and activists to Gaza has been bombed by drones in international waters off Malta.
Footage taken on board the ship shows a fire, but everyone is confirmed safe. Its organisers, the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, blamed Israel.
It came as Israel bombed an area near the presidential palace in Damascus – its prime minister warning Syria it will not allow any threat to the Druze minority.
Days of clashes between pro-government and Druze gunmen have left dozens dead or wounded.
