
Sky’s Data and Forensics team has been monitoring shipping through the Strait of Hormuz – a strategically vital waterway for Iran and other oil producers in the Middle East.
Hundreds of tankers usually travel through the strait between Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman, but maritime activity has been almost brought to a standstill as the U.S. and Iran have traded strikes.
Volatility in the Gulf will have an impact across the world, and disruption here will in turn affect global markets and international trade.
