The brutal realities of the violence that can suddenly erupt with Israeli settlers trying to claim land in the occupied West Bank, have been brought home in an exclusive interview given to ITV News tonight.

Correspondent Peter Smith spoke to a Palestinian grandmother who was attacked while gathering her family’s olives. She told him the attacks are becoming more frequent.

The latest incident came as President Trump once again insisted that he won’t allow Israel to annex parts of the West Bank.
