Shortage of key cancer drug

Pharmacists say cancer patients have been hit by a critical shortage of a key drug.

Creon is needed by patients with pancreatic cancer, cystic fibrosis and chronic pancreatitis to help them digest food and absorb its nutrients.

Some are travelling long distances to get hold of the drug, while others are limiting themselves to eating one meal a day to ration their supply.
