Europe may seem to be abundant with water. But across the continent, countries are increasingly facing water shortages and drought. In 2018, South Africa’s capital Cape Town was on the brink of being completely without water. The city turned it around. So, could Europe learn lessons from Global South nations that have overcome water shortages in the past?
