A former funeral director has pleaded guilty to preventing lawful and decent burials, after dozens of bodies were removed from his funeral home in Hull two years ago.

Robert Bush told families he was giving them ashes of their loved ones, when they may have not belonged to them and the bodies may not have even cremated yet.
Michaela Baldwin’s stepfather, Danny Middleton, died in 2023 and his body was left in the home even though the family was given ashes Bush claimed were Middleton’s.
She said the case is "sickening" and calls for more regulations for people who want to operate funeral homes.
