Single-sex spaces: Has anything changed since court ruling?

On 16 April 2025, the Supreme Court ruled that the terms "woman" and "sex" refer to a biological woman and biological sex in the Equality Act 2010.

One year later and the government has not issued official guidance on the ruling. We spoke to transgender people, gender critical campaigners and a business owner about how the lack of guidance has impacted them.
