Two narrowboats have been swallowed by a sinkhole that opened on a canal in Shropshire.

Another two canal boats can be seen teetering near the edge of the hole. Police have declared the collapse a major incident, raising fears of flooding. There are no reports of casualties but Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service have asked people to stay away from the area.
