Sir Elton John has accused the publishers of the Daily Mail of an invasion of privacy into his and his son’s medical information.

The star was giving evidence via video link at the privacy trial against Associated Newspapers and claimed their actions had been "abhorrent and outside even the most basic standards of human decency".
ANL has strongly denied any wrongdoing and has previously claimed Sir Elton’s allegations were "utterly baseless".
