Sizewell C plant to cost £38bn

The UK has signed a deal with a group of private investors to build the Sizewell C nuclear power plant in Suffolk at a cost of £38 billion.

The long awaited deal will cost almost twice as much as the original estimate and means an extra pound a month added to household energy bills for at least ten years.
