Sky News at Ten: President Biden says Egypt’s president has agreed to open border for Gaza aid

President Joe Biden says Egyptian leader Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has agreed to open the Rafah border crossing to allow roughly 20 trucks carrying humanitarian aid to enter Gaza.

He praised El-Sisi for the decision, saying "he deserves some real credit".

Earlier, Israel said it would not block water, food and medicine supplies entering Gaza from Egypt in response to a demand from the US president.

While, The US has assessed that it was a Palestinian Islamic Jihad group rocket that misfired and hit the hospital in Gaza, two senior officials have told our US partner network NBC News.
