Sky News inside the UK's first Turtle Rehabilitation and Repatriation Centre

Sea turtles are increasingly making unexpected appearances along the UK coastline due to climate change.

These marine reptiles are not typically seen in UK waters, but in the last year alone, 35 sea turtles were discovered on UK shores—an increase from 27 in 2023 and 12 in 2022.

Sky’s Matthew Thompson went to the UK’s first Turtle Rehabilitation and Repatriation Centre which has received its first sea turtle.
