Sky News joined NATO’s Operation Eastern Sentry on an air patrol over Poland’s eastern border as the alliance responds to Russian threats to its airspace.
The RAF is supplying Typhoon fighter jets and refuelling capabilities to help patrol the skies and bolster NATO’s eastern flank after Russia sent scores of drones into NATO territory on 10 September.
Sky’s Diana Magnay was on board a refuelling plane as part of a nighttime mission to patrol the skies.
