Sky’s John Sparks describes Ukraine’s ‘kill zone’ as a ‘very intense place to be’

Sky News spent 24 hours in Ukraine’s ‘kill zone’ in a command centre where Ukrainian soldiers coordinated frontline operations.

International Correspondent John Sparks said his experience was “very intense”.

He describes how the future of warfare has changed dye to the use of drones, describing them as “deadly, adaptable and cheap”.

Sparks adds that these drones offer Ukraine an advantage as it supplements their personnel on the ground: “They have extra eyes, and they have extra attackers through the use of drones.”
