Scottish first minister and SNP leader, John Swinney, answered questions from journalists at the Scottish National party’s manifesto launch in Edinburgh on Wednesday. Swinney reiterated his party’s commitment to rseparating Scotland from the United Kingdom, adding that a vote for Labour would be a vote for further cuts. Voters needed to have their ‘eyes wide open’ said Swinney: ‘voting Labour in Scotland will get you spending cuts’
