Children’s commissioner Dame Rachel De Souza has been giving her thoughts on a potential social media ban in the UK.
A ban has already been enforced in Australia and Dame De Souza has been giving her verdict on the issue with Sky News.
She said: "The Lords has made its voice heard and said, ‘we want a ban’. Now the hard thing is ban what? Ban how? And my question always is how do we keep children safe?
"I also want to turn the story around a bit, if somewhere’s not safe, they should be banned not the children."
