South Africa's obesity crisis: preventing a disaster

A study by the World Obesity Federation has compared the rise in obesity to the HIV epidemic.

In South Africa in particular – obesity has now overtaken HIV as the number one cause of death, with a host of related conditions from diabetes to heart disease.
