Around 30,000 homes across the south east have been without water following a series of separate outages in Sussex and Kent.
The Kent and Medway Resilience Forum (KMRF), a partnership of agencies and councils in the county, have declared a “major incident” in response.
South East Water has apologised to all those affected and says it’s delivering water to those on its priority register, but it’s unclear when supplies will be restored.
