South Korea’s air force accidentally bombs civilian area

South Korea’s air force has apologised after a fighter jet accidentally dropped eight bombs on a civilian area, reportedly injuring five civilians and two soldiers.

The KF-16 jet was taking part in live firing exercises with the army when, according to a statement, the bombs were "abnormally released".
