The violence spreading across the country had its roots in Southport, where three children were stabbed to death in a brutal attack on a Taylor Swift-themed dance class.
Family and friends released white balloons in memory of the nine-year-old Alice Dasilva who was killed in the Southport stabbing attacks.
Alice Dasilva Aguiar was nine years old, Bebe King, six, and Elsie Dot Stancombe was seven.
