Spain are World Cup champions once again, after beating Argentina 1-0 in the final.
Ferran Torres’ first goal of this year’s tournament secured a win for his country and denied Lionel Messi a second straight title in what he has indicated would be his final World Cup match.
While the game was tedious at times, it was made more memorable by a closing ceremony and half-time show that included Tom Cruise, Madonna, Shakira, and Muppets.
