Sir Keir Starmer hit back, saying those spreading "lies and misinformation" are only interested in themselves, not the victims.
He also accused the Conservatives of jumping on a "far right" bandwagon in calling for a new public inquiry into grooming gangs. But it hasn’t stopped the onslaught.
The world’s richest man responded by branding him "utterly despicable".
