Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer says his party "lost its way" up to the 2019 election, but Labour has changed since then, being now "fundamentally unrecognisable" four years on.
The Conservative narrative on tackling migrants arriving on small boats was evidence of the government "losing control of our borders" he said, and politicians were "having a fight with themselves" rather than providing solutions.
