Sir Keir Starmer has apologised to the victims of Jeffrey Epstein, and said he should not have appointed Lord Mandelson as British ambassador to Washington. The Prime Minister insisted that his team did not know the extent Lord Mandelson’s relationship with the convicted sex offender.
