Starmer says chainsaw ‘not his style’ but commits to ”stripping away red tape’

The prime minister, Keir Starmer, said on Thursday there was ‘no more important relationship’ to the UK than that with the US. Starmer spoke from the residence of the British ambassador to the US, Peter Mandelson, where he met with business leaders in effort to strengthen the US-UK relationship.
