Sir Keir Starmer has welcomed ministers to "the next stage of our journey", as he held the first cabinet meeting since his major reshuffle.
The PM fired multiple ministers on Friday and swapped many others around in a planned reshuffle that was brought forward by the resignation of Angela Rayner.
Starmer said the government is now moving onto the "next stage", from "fixing foundations now onto the stage of national renewal".
He added: "You are all here around this table, each and every one of you, because you are the right people for this stage of our journey."
