Starmer to scrap NHS England and bring health service back under ‘democratic control’

Sir Keir Starmer says he is abolishing NHS England and taking the health service back into "democratic control".

In a speech outlining plans to reform public services and the way the Government is run, the Prime Minister said that a "watchdog state" had been created which was "unfit for the volatile and insecure world we live in".
