Starmer unveils spending plan to make UK war ready

Sir Keir Starmer has pledged to turn Britain into a "battle-ready armour-clad nation".

Unveiling a defence review designed to counter the growing threats the UK faces, his Defence Secretary said it will make the army 10 times more lethal by combining drones and AI with tanks and artillery.

But the three percent spending commitment John Healey appeared to make at the weekend, was only described as an "ambition".
