A royal gaffe from the Prime Minister?
King Charles is said to ‘not be happy’ with Sir Keir Starmer after the PM handed a private invitation to Donald Trump in front of the world’s media at the White House.
GB News Royal Correspondent, Cameron Walker, says the original message was supposed to be one welcoming the President to Balmoral to discuss a future state visit.
The King wanted a private meeting given the ‘constitionally problematic’ position he had been put in following Trump’s comments about Canada becoming the 51st state of the USA.
