Steve Bray says he played EU anthem as Starmer resigned to drown out “derogatory” heckling

As Keir Starmer announced his resignation outside Number 10, the EU anthem Ode to Joy could be heard playing in the background.

The music was being played by veteran anti-Brexit activist Steve Bray, who told Channel 4 News he was drowning out "derogatory" heckling from an individual with a megaphone.
