'Stop calling voters neo-Nazis and take them seriously' says German ambassador to UK

The rise of the far-right in Germany shows a trend of "growing discontent" in Germany and all over Europe, the German ambassador to the UK has told Sunday Morning with Trevor Phillips, insisting "they will not gain power".

Miguel Berger has insisted "they will not gain power" due to a "firewall" which means "nobody cooperates with the far right".

But he warned: "We must stop calling the voters neo-Nazis. These are people who protest with their vote. So we have to take this seriously, and we have to try to address that."
