Storm Darragh: Two men die and hundreds of thousands without power as winds reach 93mph

Two people have been killed after Storm Darragh hit the UK and Ireland with gusts of up to 93mph.

Thousands of people were also left without power as they were urged to stay indoors throughout the day.

The Merseyside Premier League derby between Everton and Liverpool which was due to kick-off at Saturday lunchtime at Goodison Park was also postponed.
