Strike on Damascus neighbourhood kills five members of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards

A strike on the Mazzeh neighbourhood of Damascus, Syria has killed five members of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, with Tehran blaming the attack on Israel. Iran’s foreign ministry spokesperson says that Iran has a ‘right to respond’ to the strike. There was no immediate comment from Israel regarding the attack, which also killed several members of Syria’s armed forces
