A University of Leeds undergraduate has hit back after the student union suspended her from their radio station.
An investigation was launched after Connie Shaw was accused of breaching the student union’s code of conduct for voicing gender critical views.
But speaking to Andrew Doyle on GB News, the third-year student said: They said I am guilty because I have brought LSR (Leeds Student Radio) into disrepute, but they can’t tell me what I’ve done that’s done that.’
A spokesperson for the union said: “Inclusivity is one of our core values, helping to ensure that everyone can enjoy their university experience, free from discrimination.
“Due to an ongoing appeal, we are unable to comment further on this case.”
