One was a student at the University of Kent and the other was at a grammar school in Faversham.
11 other people in the area are seriously ill in hospital after cases were discovered this weekend.
The UK Health Security Agency says anyone with symptoms should seek urgent medical help.
The strain of the disease hasn’t been identified yet.
Meningitis is when membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord become infected and it can be fatal or cause permanent damage if it is not treated quickly.
