Sudan’s army recaptures key city Wad Madani

Soldiers are celebrating in Wad Madani after Sudan’s army recaptured the key central city, marking another blow to the RSF. This latest war in the Northeast African nation between the army and the Rapid Support Forces erupted in April 2023 and it has created one of the world’s largest humanitarian crises, displacing more than 12 million people.
