Pro Windsurfer Jamie Howard shared a video showing him surfing in what he believes was sewage on the UK’s south coast in November 2023.

He told us he still sometimes gets ill when he’s windsurfing.
The amount of untreated sewage that spilled into England’s rivers, lakes and seas decreased by more than a third last year.
But the Environment Agency says most of these reductions are because of the weather and the decline in rainfall.
