Suspected sodium cyanide leaks into Walsall canal

Tests are being carried out on a canal in the West Midlands after a suspected leak of sodium cyanide into the water.

The noxious chemical can cause headaches, nausea, dizziness, confusion, changes in heart rate and loss of consciousness.

Dead fish have been seen in the water in the canal in Pleck.
